Materials, Design, and Innovations in Flexible Pressure Sensors for Biomedical Applications: A Review
摘要
Flexible and stretchable pressure sensors have reached a big picture in the screen of sensor technologies for human healthcare monitoring electronic system. Even though it has multiple applications in the fields of robotics, human interactive machines, and Artificial Intelligence, the distinct resultants are reassuring in surgical and non-surgical pressure monitoring devices for the human body. In this review paper, we elaborate the basic piezo sensing principles of pressure sensors (piezoelectric, piezoresistive, capacitive), well-known technical sensor parameters, importance of flexible materials in pressure sensing, divergent materials employed, and design strategies for promising outcomes of flexible pressure sensors. These facets of a sensor extend for magnificent utilization in many aspects of biomedical applications. Finally, various fabrication methods are listed to endeavor low cost, portable, biodegradable, flexible pressure sensors.
