摘要

The field of tissue engineering and regenerative medicine has made significant progress, especially in the realm of biofabrication, aiming to create functional tissues and organs for transplantation, ultimately transforming medical treatments. Fibrin, a versatile and biocompatible biomaterial derived from the clotting cascade, has emerged as a crucial component in the development of bioinks for various tissue regeneration applications. This review explores the multifaceted role of fibrin-based bioinks in promoting tissue regeneration, with a specific focus on skin tissue engineering. We describe the properties and characteristics of fibrin as a biomaterial, its potential for promoting angiogenesis, and its compatibility with mechanical design considerations. By considering key findings and insights, we emphasize the potential of fibrin-based bioinks in innovating tissue engineering strategies. This review highlights the role of fibrin-based bioinks in advancing regenerative therapies and indicates a new era of tissue engineering applications.
