摘要

This study explores the evolving relationship between Artificial Intelligence (AI) and human well-being through a comprehensive bibliometric analysis of research published between 2016 and 2026. Drawing from the Scopus database, the study analyzed 1083 English-language publications to identify key authors, institutions, thematic clusters, and intellectual foundations shaping this interdisciplinary field. Results indicate a sharp rise in scholarly output after 2020, reflecting growing global attention to the ethical and human-centered dimensions of AI. Four dominant research clusters were identified: (1) AI in mental health and psychological support, (2) ethical and technical foundations of AI, (3) methodological innovation and personalization in healthcare and education, and (4) AI’s broader societal and educational impacts. Highly cited works, particularly from institutions such as Harvard Medical School and MIT, highlight a paradigm shift from purely functional applications of AI toward empathetic, transparent, and ethically guided systems that promote human flourishing. The findings reveal that while AI holds significant potential to enhance well-being, its success depends on responsible design that integrates ethical governance, inclusivity, and trust. This study contributes to a holistic understanding of the AI–well-being nexus and offers a roadmap for future interdisciplinary research aimed at ensuring that technological progress aligns with human values and collective happiness.
