摘要

During mega events where massive gatherings take place, it is important to have a data hiding technique that protects sensitive information, ensures security, and maintains privacy. This paper proposes a data hiding approach for the secure communication during mega events. The proposed approach utilizes the embedded binary structure of the Arabic poetry system and the characteristics of invisible Unicode characters, such that three bits can be hidden in each character of the cover text. This resulted on a superior capacity ratio of 300%. In addition, the proposed method achieved a robustness ratio of 90% and an average security ratio of 89%, outperforming all related methods. In terms of imperceptibility, the only methods that are better than the proposed technique are those which don’t add any visible characters and have 100% imperceptibility ratio. For other related methods, the proposed approach has a higher imperceptibility with an average ratio of 94%.
