<p>The Longdong region of China is endowed with abundant resources such as coal, oil, and natural gas. Longdong Comprehensive Energy and Chemical Industry Base is in the stage of high-quality development, which plays an important role in the realization of the strategic goal of strong industry in Gansu. Based on data retrieved from the National Enterprise Credit Information Publicity System (Gansu), the Gansu Provincial Tax Service of the State Taxation Administration, and relevant local government departments, we compiled enterprise information for Qingyang and Pingliang cities as of March 2025. Building on the statistical analysis of energy and chemical enterprises in the Longdong region, this study summarizes the current status and development trends of the industry from multiple dimensions.On the basis of investigation and statistical analysis of the development of the energy and chemical industry in the Longdong region, we summarized the current status and development trends of the energy and chemical industry from multiple dimensions. Guided by fostering new quality productive forces and implementing the “dual carbon” strategy, and drawing on achievements in clean production, CCUS, digital platform construction, and related outcomes in the oil and gas sector, we proposed a high-quality development pathway for the oil and gas industry. In light of the current status and development trends of intelligent coal mining, digital twin platform construction, and green mine development, we put forward a “Four Modernizations” collaborative development model for the coal industry. A preliminary integration of the digital industry and real economy has taken shape, based on 5G plus “ABCD” technologies, promoting industrial structural transformation and upgrading, and constructing an integrated energy production-supply-storage-sales system characterized by “safety and efficiency, clean and low-carbon, diversified and coordinated, and intelligent and inclusive.” This will form a diversified and complementary energy development model based on coal and oil, supplemented by wind, solar, electrical, hydrogen, and helium energy, to achieve the high-quality development of the Longdong Comprehensive Energy and Chemical Industry Base.</p>
