摘要

Background

Leadership has traditionally focused on traits like decisiveness and assertiveness, but contemporary theories increasingly recognize the importance of emotional well-being and happiness The concept of “hapttitude,” blending happiness attitude and results, highlights how a positive outlook and emotional resilience are crucial for effective leadership. This research, titled “Harnessing Hapttitude for Women’s Self-perceived Leadership capability: An Exploratory Study of Private-Sector Women Leaders” explores how hapttitude enhances the skills and traits of women leaders.

Method

The study employs a sample of 334 women leaders from nine private sectors. Using SPSS and AMOS software, it applies Exploratory Factor Analysis (EFA) and Confirmatory Factor Analysis (CFA) to identify hapttitude traits and regression analysis to assess their impact on self-perceived leadership capability. Reliability and validity are ensured through Cronbach’s alpha and normality of residuals.

Findings

Key hapttitude traits such as empathy, emotional intelligence, and resilience are linked with higher self-perceived leadership capability. Women leaders with high hapttitude excel in creating positive team dynamics, enhancing organizational outcomes, and fostering inclusivity.

Implications

The study suggests incorporating hapttitude into leadership development programs to improve employee morale, retention, and organizational culture. It also advocates for recognizing the value of diverse leadership styles and promoting gender equality.

Originality

This research provides a novel perspective by integrating hapttitude into women's leadership, offering actionable insights for enhancing self-perceived leadership capability and organizational success through emotional well-being and positive attitudes.
