<p>Using panel data from 51 developing countries, this study contributes to the literature by empirically assessing the effects of technological innovation across the three major greenhouse gas emissions. Annual data from 2012 to 2020 are analyzed using static and dynamic panel estimation techniques. Environmental emissions are measured using the top three primary greenhouse gases of carbon dioxide, methane, and nitrous oxide to comprehensively assess the impact of technological innovation on the greenhouse effect. Following the static and dynamic panel estimates, this study confirms that technological innovation is decreasing emissions in developing countries, significantly lessening the top three greenhouse gas emissions and minimizing the greenhouse effect. The findings also support the existence of the EKC hypothesis in developing countries. Thus, the study concludes that policymakers in developing countries should prioritize investing in and implementing innovative technologies that can effectively reduce environmental emissions.</p>
