摘要

Environmental degradation and sustainability issues are pressing concerns in the Jordanian hotel industry, prompting an examination of how corporate initiatives might enhance environmental performance. This study aims to examine the impact of corporate social responsibility strategies on environmental sustainability performance within Jordan’s hotel and resort sectors. It further examines the moderating effects of green human resource management (HRM) practices and a green organizational climate in enhancing this link. Employing a quantitative, deductive research approach, data was collected through a purposive sample of 315 employees drawn from human resources, training and development, quality development, environmental, and social responsibility departments. The proposed research model was tested using structural equation modeling (SEM). The findings reveal that corporate social responsibility methods positively influence environmental sustainability performance. On the other hand, green HRM practices and a green organizational climate help improve the link between corporate social responsibility initiatives and environmental sustainability performance. The findings enhance comprehension of how corporate social policies elevate environmental sustainability performance.
