Data were collected from 341 households using a survey, key informant interviews, and focus group discussions. Analysis with an Extended Linear Regression model shows a significant association between rural–urban linkage and rural livelihoods. Household income, livestock ownership, job availability, and age of household head were positively associated with livelihoods, while family size showed a negative association.
