摘要

This study seeks to identify key factors influencing football player creativity, informed by insights from crucial stakeholders in professional football, to promote sustainability in sports development, thereby supporting quality education (SDG 4) and good health and well-being (SDG 3). PLS-SEM technique is applied to analyze data collected from 264 professional players with experience in both domestic and international football competitions in Vietnam. The findings reveal that a strong sense of belonging—shaped by a positive organizational culture—significantly enhances players' creativity. Notably, the sense of belonging serves as a mediating factor in the relationship between organizational culture and creativity. This research provides valuable insights for policymakers, business, and researchers interested in developing creativity as well as sustainable quality education for professional football players in Vietnam. In addition to its theoretical contributions, this study offers practical insights by illustrating how fostering a sense of belonging can elevate both individual creativity and the commercial value of professional football. Football team managers should enhance player creativity through the development of organizational culture and support systems beyond coaching and peer dynamics.
