<p>Sustainable tourism and hospitality are crucial for achieving long-term environmental, social, and economic sustainability goals. These sectors advocate responsible resource management, mitigate environmental impacts, support local communities, enhance tourist experiences, and ensure industry success. This study investigates the relationship between green environmental orientation, green service innovation, and sustainable development in the tourism and hospitality sectors. Importantly, this study explores the moderating effects of mobile information technology (MIT) and green human resource management (GHRM) as boundary conditions in the relationship between green environmental orientation, green service innovation, and sustainable tourism development. The proposed model was validated using two-wave data collected from 247 general, IT, and HR managers at a hotel in Erbil, Northern Iraq. These findings provide insights into how green environmental orientation and service innovation contribute to the sustainable development of the tourism and hospitality industry. The results emphasize the importance of integrating MIT and GHRM to strengthen the relationships among green environmental orientation, green service innovation, and sustainable tourism development strategies. This integration supports environmental initiatives and offers valuable knowledge to researchers and practitioners alike.</p>
