<p>In order to achieve organizational sustainability in textile industries, quality management practices and leadership styles should be combined appropriately. The objective of this study is to determine the consequences of Total Quality Management (TQM) practice (i.e., employee engagement, top management support, education and training, supplier quality management, process flow management, and process monitoring) on organizational sustainability and the mediating role of organizational commitment and the moderating effect of democratic leadership. A structured questionnaire survey was conducted among 312 decision− makers in the textile industry, an important economic sector for the country. Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) was used in analyzing the data. The results demonstrate that TQM strongly affects organizational sustainability directly. It also affects sustainability through the mediation of organizational commitment. Organizational commitment. Democratic leadership style moderates the relationship between TQM practices and Organizational commitment. The study provides practical implications for quality managers and leaders in ensuring long− term organization sustainability in the textile industry.</p>
