Sustainable Manufacturing Practices in Global Context
摘要
Sustainable manufacturing reduces environmental impact and boosts economic sustainability. Despite advances, the global consequences of sustainable manufacturing techniques are still unclear. This literature study critically analyses sustainable manufacturing literature to identify global trends, challenges, and possibilities. The report also evaluates existing methodologies and suggests future research to cover information gaps. To discover relevant material, peer-reviewed journals, conference papers, and industry reports were systematically reviewed. We searched Scopus, Web of Science, and Google Scholar for ecologically friendly production processes. This review examined current and future sustainable production trends from several sources. Main topics include green manufacturing, closed-loop supply chain solutions, and environmentally friendly production. A literature study shows that sustainable manufacturing's ecological, social, and economical aspects require comprehensive approaches. The importance of multidisciplinary and integrated sustainable manufacturing solutions is stressed throughout this research. Responding to issues and seizing opportunities can help stakeholders improve global manufacturing. Future research should improve techniques, analyse long-term consequences of sustainable practices, and encourage cross-sector cooperation to meet sustainable development goals.
