  • Upasana Panda

摘要

Envisioning a world devoid of waste is not just a utopian dream but also a plausible reality, thanks to the revolutionary concept of the “circular economy” (CE). This innovative approach emerges as a beacon of hope amid the current environmental crisis, offering a sustainable solution to the perilous scenario of resource depletion. This study delves into the intricacies of the existing CE system by critically examining its perceived significance through the lens of real-time applicability. Through a series of illustrative examples, we endeavor to elucidate the practical implications and potential shortcomings of the circular economy. Furthermore, the paper introduces a comprehensive action plan aimed at bolstering the efficiency of the CE model. This plan is rooted in a six-step paradigm designed to intricately close the material loop, ensuring that resources are utilized optimally, and waste is minimized. The narrative of the paper culminates with a discussion on tangible interventions that can be implemented in real time to facilitate the adoption of the circular economy. By presenting concrete steps and strategies, the paper strives to bridge the gap between theory and practice, emphasizing the urgency of embracing circularity as a fundamental paradigm shift. In essence, the study posits that a world without waste is not only conceivable but also achievable through a concerted effort to reshape our approach to resource utilization.
