Financial Inclusion (FI) is the provision of affordable financial services to all individuals and businesses. It is popularly recognized as a key enabler of inclusive growth. Though, people in marginalized communities face few challenges in terms of FI which may affect the growth of the nation. Thus, it is significant to investigate the FI and its efforts on rural areas. Despite the endeavours of prevailing researches in examining FI and its effect, it have ignored the aspect of stakeholders’ role and sustainability of FI initiatives. Thus, the current study analyses the FI and its impact on inclusive growth in Ribhoi district of Meghalaya. The study adopts quantitative research technique as it offers reliable and valid results. The current research collects data from the total of 526 common people in Meghalaya. The gathered data are examined through SPSS tool with the support of statistical techniques like Regression, ANOVA, Correlation and Chi-Square. The results of the study will reveal the effectiveness of FI and its association with overall development of the nation. The findings highlight the distinct barriers faced by marginalized communities in Ribhoi, such as limited access to financial services, lack of financial literacy, and cultural attitudes towards banking. By addressing these specific challenges, this research fills a critical gap in understanding how local factors influence financial behaviors and access. The implication of the study will be favourable for policy makers to create initiatives for strengthening FI and accomplishing transformative growth. Furthermore, the association of FI and inclusive development along with challenges and recommendations of the research will be a significant lesson for other regions in India for overcoming the issues and achieve equitable development.
