<p>Farmers’ satisfaction with the advisory services provided by agricultural input dealers plays a crucial role in determining the dealers’ effectiveness as para-extension workers. This study aims to assess the level of farmers’ satisfaction with these advisory services in the rainfed regions of Andhra Pradesh. The research was conducted during January–February 2024 in the Anantapur and Kurnool districts, which are characterized by extensive rainfed agricultural practices. A total of 120 farmers, selected through a simple random sampling method, participated in the study. A descriptive research design was adopted, and analytical tools such as Importance-Performance Analysis (IPA) and the Customer Satisfaction Index (CSI) were employed to evaluate the data. The findings revealed a moderate level of satisfaction, with a CSI score of 56.30%. Attributes such as fair pricing, yield improvement, trustworthiness, consistency, cost-effectiveness, effectiveness of recommendations, knowledge level, accuracy of information, and problem-solving skills were identified as critical yet underperforming areas that require improvement. Conversely, input dealers performed well in attributes like clarity and understanding, interaction quality, customization, relevance of advice, alignment of inputs with advice, ease of access, and timeliness, which positively influenced farmers’ satisfaction. The study highlights the need for targeted improvements in key advisory attributes to enhance the overall effectiveness and credibility of input dealers in delivering agricultural support services.</p>
