Lentil behavior following foliar nano particle application: implications for plant growth and development
摘要
The study was designed to analyze the effect of foliar spray of nano particles (copper and zinc) as mono or combination with different doses with recommended dose of fertilizers (RDF) in lentil. The trial was conducted during rabi 2020–21 at Research and Extension Centre, Gaja, Collage of Forestry, Ranichauri, Tehri Garhwal, Veer Chandra Singh Garhwali Uttarakhand University of Horticulture & Forestry, Bharsar, Pauri Garhwal, Uttarakhand. The experiment consists of fifteen treatments of nano scale fertilizers along with fertilizers. The RDF with or without the nano particles are compared with each other in two replications using Randomized Complete Block Design (RCBD). A number of plant growth, development and yield traits with returns were studied. The outcome showed that the 50% RDF + Nano Cu recorded significantly higher growth parameter such as plant height, root length, fresh weight of shoot, dry weight of shoot, fresh weight of root, dry weight of root and number of branches per plant. Yield attributes and yield was also recorded maximum in 50% RDF + Nano Cu which was statistically at par with 50% RDF + Nano Zn + Nano Cu, resulting in achieving higher net return and maximum benefit cost ratio.
