Numerical study of two stream instability in strongly coupled dusty plasmas

摘要

An investigation of two stream instability (TSI) in an inhomogeneous magnetized dusty plasma is done, where dust is assumed to be negatively charged and strongly coupled with each other.Basic fluid equations are formulated for the strongly coupled magnetized dusty plasma including the effect of ionization and recombination.Normal mode analysis method along with linearization of perturbed parameter is used to solve these basic equations in order to find the dispersion relations.Behavior of existing instability is examined with respest to typical plasma parameters, like strength of magnetic field, obliqueness of magnetic field and propagation vector, density of dust particles and charge of dust particles.The findings are useful to comprehend particle acceleration, wave generation, plasma diagnostics, dust particle effects, avalanche processes, wave amplification and various astrophysical phenomena.
