摘要

To solve the problem of the high cost of fault circuit breakers in flexible DC grids, hybrid co-charging branch DC circuit breaker (CCB-HCCBDB) is proposed in this paper. The proposed circuit breaker transfers energy into capacitors or is consumed by resistors and inductors by conducting capacitor, resistor, and inductor branches in the current-limiting stage. In addition, a grounding branch is introduced, which reduces the breaking time of the circuit breaker and the energy dissipated by the surge arrester. Furthermore, the multiplexing of the charging branch and current-limiting branch reduces the manufacturing cost of the circuit breaker. First, the topology and working process of the proposed circuit breaker are described, and a single-ended line short-circuit system is designed based on the proposed topology. Second, the fault development process is deduced, and the device parameters are designed. Finally, a model is built in MATLAB/Simulink for simulation, and a comparative analyses of the validity, performance, and number of components of the proposed scheme is carried out with other schemes. The obtained results verify the reliability of the proposed scheme.
