<p>Vascular injury represents the most serious complication of corrective osteotomies. This case report describes a&#xa0;26-year-old woman with popliteal artery injury during femoral torsional osteotomy. The injury was successfully treated with a&#xa0;saphenous bypass. Adequate dorsal soft tissue protection during corrective osteotomy is of utmost importance to protect vessels from injury. Furthermore, every surgeon performing osteotomies must have a&#xa0;vascular surgeon available for emergencies.</p>

摘要
