While knee arthroplasty is the gold standard for advanced osteoarthritis, it presents a&#xa0;particular challenge in younger patients, as they have higher functional demands and an increased risk of mechanical complications. Common problems include septic and aseptic loosening, instability, and periprosthetic fractures, which can negatively impact the longevity of the implant. To achieve optimal outcomes and minimize complications, careful preoperative planning (low-grade infections, axial deviations, ligament instabilities, and existing bone defects) is essential. The choice of prosthesis should be individualized to ensure optimal stability and mobility. Postoperatively, targeted rehabilitation is crucial to ensure prosthetic function and improve the patient’s mobility.</p>
