Operationstechnik: Sehnenentnahme eines Peroneus-longus-Split-Transplantats
摘要
The peroneus longus tendon split graft is a universally usable tendon graft that is not yet widely used in Europe. The graft is a very good alternative to the semitendinosus tendon, as its dimensions are very similar to those of the semitendinosus tendon. The peroneus longus split graft can be harvested in a minimally invasive procedure using a conventional semitendinosus tendon stripper. Only the ventral half of the tendon is used in order to reduce harvest morbidity. Clinical studies have shown comparable clinical results when used as an anterior cruciate ligament (ACL) graft compared to the semitendinosus tendon without increased harvest morbidity.
