Die transtuberositäre, anterior öffnende Tibiakopf-Flexions-Osteotomie (TT-AOW-HTO) zur Erhöhung des tibialen Slope bei knöchernem Genu recurvatum

Clinically, bony genu recurvatum appears as hyperextensibility of the knee joint. In addition to the problems caused by hyperextension, this can also lead to insufficiency of the posterior cruciate ligament (PCL). Causal therapy of this high tibial extension deformity is a slope-increasing high tibial osteotomy. There have been hardly any publications on the clinical results of this to date, in particular on pure slope correction without changing the frontal axis. In the following, the technique of trans-tuberosity anterior opening wedge high tibial flexion osteotomy to increase the tibial slope is shown (with detachment and bioplating of the tibial tuberosity). After previous arthroscopy, the osteotomy is followed by the ventral interposition of an autologous iliac crest ridge and osteosynthesis with two angle-stable plates from the medial or anteromedial side.
