Dry methane reforming for hydrogen gas production has become one of the most popular methods in recent years. For this purpose, the performance of thin-film LaNiO3 and LaNiO3/γ-Al2O3 perovskite catalysts in a microchannel reactor has been investigated. Alumina support was used to improve the H2/CO ratio in the LaNiO3 catalyst. It should be noted that the molar ratio of CH4: CO2: He in the feed was 1:1:8.
