A Decision Model for the Development of Competitive LARG Supply Chain Management

Supply chain management (SCM) has developed a major tool for administrations to survive in a competitive world. Lean, agile, resilient, and green (LARG) patterns as novel concepts of attractiveness can be essential factors to improve organizational performance. This study aims to discover the most effective LARG patterns and indicators in SCM and to propose a conceptual model to achieve a competitive advantage. This study also prioritizes the practices, paradigms, indicators, and performances of the proposed LARG SCM model. In this way, the data are collected from a sample of twelve (12) supply chain (SC) experts (academic and industry) and are analyzed by the fuzzy best–worst method (FBWM). The results show that operational performance is the most effective element to achieve competitive advantage, followed by economic and environmental performance. This study presents valuable insights for organizations into the recognition, implementation, and measuring of the LARG concept in various levels of SC’s performances and how it contributes to improving organizations’ competitiveness.
