<p>In this paper, criteria for strong U-points and H-property in Orlicz sequence spaces equipped with the <i>p</i>-Amemiya norm <InlineEquation ID="IEq1"> <InlineMediaObject> <ImageObject Color="BlackWhite" FileRef="43034_2025_415_Article_IEq1.gif" Format="GIF" Height="19" Rendition="HTML" Resolution="72" Type="Linedraw" Width="93" /> </InlineMediaObject> <EquationSource Format="TEX">\((1&lt; p&lt;\infty )\)</EquationSource> <EquationSource Format="MATHML"><math> <mrow> <mo stretchy="false">(</mo> <mn>1</mn> <mo>&lt;</mo> <mi>p</mi> <mo>&lt;</mo> <mi>∞</mi> <mo stretchy="false">)</mo> </mrow> </math></EquationSource> </InlineEquation> are given. Next, compactly locally uniform rotundity and locally uniform rotundity of these spaces are deduced. Obtained results broaden the knowledge about these notions in Orlicz sequence spaces equipped with the <i>p</i>-Amemiya norm.</p>

On some local geometry of Orlicz sequence spaces equipped with the p-Amemiya norm

摘要

In this paper, criteria for strong U-points and H-property in Orlicz sequence spaces equipped with the p-Amemiya norm \((1< p<\infty )\) ( 1 < p < ) are given. Next, compactly locally uniform rotundity and locally uniform rotundity of these spaces are deduced. Obtained results broaden the knowledge about these notions in Orlicz sequence spaces equipped with the p-Amemiya norm.
