VR Training Programme on the Daily Application of Staff in a Property Management Company in Hong Kong
摘要
This research aims to assess the efficacy of virtual reality (VR) training in addressing accidental incidents in residential/commercial properties and shopping malls. The study specifically targets employees of a property management firm in Hong Kong. Utilizing the Unified Theory of Acceptance and Use of Technology (UTAUT) model, the researchers developed a survey for their methodology. An anonymous online survey was conducted among staff who participated in VR training through the company’s online platform, with the objective of evaluating how effectively the training could be translated into practice in handling accidents at work. With a total of 279 responses collected from the participants, the results indicate that the VR training program was successful in educating and helping employees apply the skills they learned to real-world situations. Consequently, the study seeks to disseminate the experiences and insights gathered from the VR training initiative within Hong Kong’s property management sector. Ultimately, this research highlights the growing importance and effectiveness of VR training in the industry, offering valuable insights into the impact of innovative training approaches on practical applications.
