摘要

In light of the widespread availability of instruments for gathering and processing multimedia signals, a growing body of data suggests that images and videos should not be relied upon as reliable evidence. Since this is a possibility, digital broadcasters need to know how to tell if the multimedia content they’ve received is authentic or not. Experts in signal processing have been developing efficient solutions for media forgery analysis to address these problems. These methods aim to reconstruct the processing history of the multimedia data at issue and validate its sources. These methods rely on the idea that most changes are irreversible and leave “footprints” in the reconstructed signal that can be used to reduce the processing steps that came before. To highlight the list of challenges, tools, datasets, and techniques for forgery detection. This study provides a summary of multimedia forgery based on the studies presented in the literature.
