摘要

Agricultural waste management presents a critical challenge globally due to its environmental, economic, and social impacts. In particular, decentralized waste disposal practices contribute to hazardous diseases and environmental pollution, underscoring the need for a scientifically sound management system. This review explores the application of satellite technology, including geospatial tools such as Remote Sensing and Geographic Information Systems (GIS), in improving sustainability in agricultural waste management. These tools can facilitate precise Site Suitability Analysis (SSA) for waste disposal, addressing the uncertainties and inefficiencies of traditional methods. The findings emphasize the importance of integrating satellite solutions to promote environmentally safe and economically viable agricultural waste disposal practices. The study provides concrete recommendations for site selection and highlights the need for a robust, integrated waste management system to mitigate the negative effects of decentralized disposal practices.
