摘要

In recent years, the agricultural sector has undergone a revolutionary transformation driven by technological advancements and advanced knowledge. This paper focuses on the application of smart technologies within greenhouse systems, highlighting the central role of the internet of things (IoT) in enabling precise monitoring and control. By analyzing 54 papers retrieved from the Scopus database between 2019 and 2023, four distinctive clusters are identified: IoT, smart greenhouses, precision agriculture, and a combined cluster addressing sustainability and industry 4.0. IoT serves as the backbone technology that enhances both greenhouse operations and agriculture practices. Furthermore, sustainability and Industry 4.0 are critical drivers of integrating these technologies to create more efficient and eco-friendly farming systems. The study proposes practical solutions and presents a conceptual framework, emphasizing the importance of a holistic approach for advancements in smart farming. This study highlights the pivotal role of IoT in smart greenhouse research and provides practical guidance for developing more efficient and sustainable agricultural systems.
