<p>This paper proposes a method to compensate for harmonics in single-phase inverter application using a phase-based comb filter. The conventional comb filter (CCF) is a harmonic reduction filter that has the effect of connecting multiple notch filters in series. The CCF has the effect of reducing harmonics for a fixed fundamental frequency. However, if the fundamental frequency changes, the coefficients of comb filter or sampling frequency must be adjusted. To address this issue, a phase-based comb filter (PCF) is proposed. The effectiveness of the proposed method is validated through experiments and simulations, with a comparative analysis conducted against conventional methods in term of transient characteristics and computation time.</p>
