摘要

This study presents an in-depth analysis and comparison of the additional driving range achievable in electric vehicles through various photovoltaic array configurations. Shadows and photovoltaic array configurations impact the power output of photovoltaic panels. It is important to consider photovoltaic panel connection to optimize power output in various scenarios. Therefore, this study analyzes the power–voltage graph, power generation, and additional driving range under various partial shading cases and photovoltaic array configurations of photovoltaic panels on electric vehicles. The study focuses on obtaining power, voltage, and current at the global maximum power point based on photovoltaic array configurations. Additionally, results on the additional driving range are obtained from the photovoltaic arrays using the actual specifications of the EV.
