A Simplified single-phase neutral-clamped H-bridge cascade converter FCS-MPC control

摘要

In order to solve the problem that the computation of single-phase neutral point clamped H-bridge cascade inverter increases exponentially with the number of levels, and the traditional finite control set model predictive control needs to traverse all the voltage vectors to select the optimal output vectors, which leads to the degradation of real-time control system, this paper proposes a simplified finite control set model predictive control method. The method eliminates the vectors with large level jumps and the voltage difference between the two H-bridge outputs. It employs multi-step prediction to delay compensation of the predicted currents in order to reduce the computational effort and the total harmonic distortion. And it uses multi-objective prediction where the neutral potential difference is added to the cost function to balance the neutral potential. An experimental platform is established to verify the correctness and superiority of the method.
