<p>Emergency Medical Services is a critical public issue that significantly involves both the health and transportation sectors. Therefore, examining the emergency response aspects in Kuwait is considered essential. This study investigates the behaviours and attitudes of drivers and their willingness to yield to ambulance vehicles. The research was based on a survey conducted through the Microsoft Forms platform, completed by 830 drivers. Data were analysed using hierarchical multiple regression and principal component analysis. Results show that among all TPB components, attitude had a negative impact on willingness, while the remaining TPB factors had a positive impact. Additionally, all the demographic variables have a significant impact on the willingness to yield, except for the education level. Finally, drivers who use the shoulder lane were found to be less likely to yield to an ambulance compared to those who do not use it.</p>
