Continuous liquid interface production (CLIP): a new paradigm in photopolymerization-based additive manufacturing

  • Brian J. Lee

摘要

This paper presents continuous liquid interface production (CLIP) technology, a photopolymerization-based additive manufacturing method that significantly accelerates 3D printing speed. CLIP enables faster and more efficient printing compared to conventional additive manufacturing methods and produces superior surface quality and isotropic mechanical properties. This paper examines the development of CLIP technology, current research trends, and its influence on the field of photopolymerization-based additive manufacturing. Additionally, it discusses the limitations of CLIP technology, technical strategies to overcome them, and the future direction of photopolymerization technology.
