Review of Biochar in Plant Disease Control through Regulating Soil Microbial Community Structure: Mechanisms, Influencing Factors, and Efficiency
摘要
As a multifunctional soil conditioner, biochar has demonstrated significant potential for sustainable plant disease suppression. The core mechanism of plant disease control involves the effective regulation of soil microbial communities. However, systematic research and analysis of this mechanism remain incomplete and dispersed. The aim of this review is to systematically analyze the specific mechanism by which biochar suppresses plant diseases through the regulation of soil microbial communities. The disease suppression efficacy of biochar is influenced by numerous factors, including biochar preparation conditions, biochar application practices, and plant-pathogen types, and this review further explores how these factors influence disease suppression through their effects on soil microbial regulation. Furthermore, specific parameters from relevant studies are systematically categorized to provide theoretical support for enhancing the disease control efficacy of biochar and promoting its application. This review synthesizes a mechanistic understanding of biochar-mediated disease suppression, and summarizes the impact of key parameters on suppression rates, thereby offering a practical reference for optimizing biochar application.
