Effect of Straw Biochar on Availability of Phosphorus in Black Soil During Freeze-Thaw Period
摘要
Freeze-thaw cycles typically cause drastic changes in soil properties, and to reduce the risk of soil phosphorus loss due to freeze-thaw cycles, the effect of biochar addition on effective phosphorus was investigated. In this study, an indoor simulation experiment was conducted to vary the amount of biochar added and the freeze-thaw cycle time to investigate the pattern and mechanism of the effect of biochar on soil phosphorus effectiveness in freeze-thaw cycles in black soils, as well as its effect on soil nutrient supply capacity in the early stage of crop growth. Based on the experimental results, it was concluded that soil available phosphorus increased with increasing biochar application in F1 (2% biochar), F2 (4% biochar) and F3 (6% biochar), which were all significantly higher than that in the CK group (0% biochar). The effects of freeze-thaw cycle time, biochar application and their interactions were highly significant on soil available phosphorus in all freeze-thaw periods. Correlation analyses showed that organic matter changed significantly during the freeze-thaw cycle and was significantly correlated with available phosphorus. Biochar maintained phosphorus efficacy in the soil by increasing material stability and reducing organic matter release.
