This study reviews the genus Arctelene Kirti & Gill, 2008, from India, utilizing a museum collection housed at NZCZSI Kolkata, supplemented by fresh collections made between 2015 and 2023. The examination of specimens related to the Asura/Miltochrista complex led to the discovery of two new species: Arctelene brevisvalva sp. nov. from Ponda, Goa (Western Ghats, India) and Arctelene rajbanshi sp. nov. from Panijhora, West Bengal (Terai Doors). Detailed illustrations of the adults and genital capsules of the new species are provided, along with diagnosis with closely related congeners, including Arctelene rubricosa (Moore, 1878), Arctelene arcuata (Moore, 1882), Arctelene rufescens Kirti & Gill, 2008, and Arctelene neouncodes Kirti & Singh, 2016. Additionally, a new synonymy is established for Arctelene patnitopensis Kirti & Singh, 2016 syn. nov. under Arctelene neouncodes Kirti & Singh, 2016.
