Thermobia smithi sp. nov. a new species of synanthropic silverfish (Zygentoma: Lepismatidae) from Kerala, India
摘要
A new species of the genus Thermobia (Zygentoma: Lepismatidae), Thermobia smithi sp. nov., found in a library and store rooms from Kerala, India, is described and diagnosed. This is the second species in the genus Thermobia reported from India. The report presents morphological, meristic and molecular details of the species and discusses its differences with related species of the genus.
