Description of a new species from 125 years old National Zoological Collections and three new records of family Limacodidae (Lepidoptera) from India

摘要

In this manuscript, a new species of Lepidoptera, Orthocraspeda dudgeoni sp. nov., from Himachal Pradesh, India is described from 125 years old collections of Mr G.C. Dudgeon housed in the National Zoological Collections at Zoological Survey of India, Kolkata. Additionally, the reporting of Thronia xizangensis (Wu and Fang 2009) represents the first record of the genus Thronia Solovyev, 2014a from India. Furthermore, Narosa erminea Hampson, 1895 and Thespea althea Solovyev, 2014a are recorded for the first time from India. Images of the adults and genitalia are provided.
