<p>Sex mechanism in cucurbits has long been the subject of intensive study by botanists, plant physiologists, geneticists and cytologists. Early attempts to alter the sex ratio in cucurbits focused on environmental and nutritional adjustments, later incorporating the use of growth-regulating chemicals. This study was carried out to reveal the impact of foliar application of plant bio-regulators on vegetative, floral and yield traits in bottle gourd&#xa0;cv. Gutka Long under valley condition of Garhwal hills at the Horticultural Research Centre,&#xa0;Department of Horticulture of H. N. B. Garhwal University, Srinagar (Garhwal), Uttarakhand, during summer season, 2019.The experiment was planned with 15 treatments that was replicated thrice in a randomized block design&#xa0;for 22-different growth, yield and quality parameters.The ANOVA results revealed significant differences among treatments at 5% level for almost all the characters, except total soluble solids (°Brix). These findings suggest that treatment&#xa0;T<sub>3</sub> (NAA @ 100 ppm) is optimal for maximizing yield, while the treatment T<sub>14</sub> (GA<sub>3</sub> @ 10&#xa0;ppm + Ethrel @ 250&#xa0;ppm) is preferable for achieving early fruit production, offering valuable options for farmers in the Garhwal hills to tailor their cultivation strategies according to specific production goals.&#xa0;</p>
