<p><i>Stachys ocymastrum</i> L., is an aromatic and medicinal plant from the Lamiaceae family. The aerial parts were extracted by maceration with ethanol, then fractionated by petroleum ether, chloroform, and ethyl acetate. The extract and its fractions were subjected to measurement of polyphenol contents, chromatographic analysis, and evaluation of cytotoxicity and antimicrobial activities. Results show its richness in total polyphenols, and its poorness in flavonoids. gallic acid, and quercetin as components identified. The ethanolic extract are the more cytotoxic extract with LC50 value of 30.077&#xa0;µg/ml. All of the bacterial strains tested were inhibited by our extracts. Ethanol and ethyl acetate were slightly more active than chloroform and petroleum ether. The fungal strains show resistance, The CMI was under 2&#xa0;mg/ml against Enterobacter cloacae. The present studies showed that the extracts of <i>Stachys ocymastrum</i> have acceptable antimicrobial effects as therapy sources, however, other tests such as antioxidant, and anti-inflammatory can be measured for good valorization of this specie.</p>
