摘要

Yellow Mosaic Virus (YMV) is one of the very important diseases in Mungbean. Yellow Mosaic Virus is spread by whiteflies (Bemisia tabaci). The current study aimed in screening for stable YMV resistant genotypes through evaluating them under YMV hotspot and non hotspot regions. 45 genotypes were screened under YMV hotpot and natural conditions at two locations during Kharif, 2018. Screenings for MYMV resistance were done along with infector rows (Paiyur-1) as the test entries. The experimental results show that most of the genotypes come under the group moderately susceptible and susceptible in both the regions on a pooled analysis. It was observed that the genotype shows differential response against MYMV at these locations. Among the 45 genotypes studied, PLM490 and IC75200 are resistant genotypes, IC76477, PLM232, PLM614, IC148419, EC398952 and EC398413 are susceptible genotypes. These genotypes can be used as parental source for crop improvement and development of mapping population for producing YMV resistant breeding lines.
