„Völkische Politik“ – Eine empirische Untersuchung der nationalsozialistischen Siedlungspolitik von Alexa Stiller

Stiller’s work examines the National Socialists’ aggressive settlement policy in both Eastern and Western Europe, interpreting it as ‘Völkische Politik’. Unlike previous ideological examinations, this empirical study meticulously investigates the actual settlement of German farmers and craftsmen across nine territories. Contrary to common belief, the author demonstrates that this policy did not directly lead to the expulsion and extermination of local populations, but rather operated in parallel. Additionally, the work highlights Himmler’s efficient collaboration with numerous organisations.
