摘要

Background

Time series are present in everyday applications and various scientific disciplines using diverse sensors. Respective time series are analysed to detect trends, irregularities, and periodic behavior of objects. Hence, frequency analysis is fundamental in time series investigation to identify physical connections and draw conclusions accordingly.

Methods

Low-cost sensors are especially suited to record LiDAR time series data and simultaneously express the spatial distribution concerning various frequencies as well as the continuous 3D immobile mean within the complex movement of a single object.

Results

The results obtained enable frequency detection in unstructured 3D LiDAR data and modeling the impact on the physical surface.

Conclusion

Our method shows the end to end detection and modeling of 3D mode shapes in a laboratorial environment.
