摘要

Purpose

This analytical paper investigates elastic analysis of a curved shell reinforced with a distribution of 3D nanofillers in graphene origami configuration.

Methods

The structure is a doubly curved with two different radii of curvature and subjected to mechanical loads constrained with two clamped and two simply end conditions. The behavioral relations are developed using the shear deformable kinematic relations and some overall material characteristics derived from the literature works.

Results

The governing equations are analytically derived using the virtual work principle and the solution procedure is developed using the computation of eigenvalues and eigenvectors of the characteristic equation and finally applying the requited boundary conditions.

Conclusion

The numerical results are presented along the radial and axial coordinate system components with assignment of material characteristics.
