Purpose <p>The planetary gearbox dynamic model using simulation software and experimental validation is analyzed. This experimental issue shows how sun gear bearing failure frequencies have been excited by using the rough surfaces of the bearing rings. Random vertical dynamic displacement of balls in the cross of the bearing surface excites bearing failure frequencies depending on the rough surface.</p> Method <p>Planetary gearbox vibrations and dynamic modeling based on the Newton-Lagrange formula are extracted for simulation and verification. The input of the planetary gearbox is the motor rotational speed with vibration amplitude in three directions. The three directions consist of horizontal, vertical, and axial. MATLAB/Simulink is used for simulation time signalanalysis and the VibXpert II vibration analyzer is used for experimental data acquisitions based on time signal, spectrum analysis, and envelope analysis</p> Conclusion <p>Investigates and focuses on fault early detection of sun gear bearing based on simulation time signal processing and experimental data verification are presented.</p>

Purpose

The planetary gearbox dynamic model using simulation software and experimental validation is analyzed. Method

Planetary gearbox vibrations and dynamic modeling based on the Newton-Lagrange formula are extracted for simulation and verification.
