Levy-Type Based Bending Formulation of a G-Ori Reinforced Plate
摘要
Eigenvalue-eigenvector solution procedure is developed in this article for bending analysis of a graphene origami (G-Ori) reinforced composite plate subjected to thermomechanical loads.
MethodsThe first order shear deformable is extended for description of the displacement field components and the virtual work principle is used for derivation of the governing equations of motion. The solution is presented for two opposite clamped-clamped and two opposite simply-supported boundary conditions. The solution is derived using computation of eigenvalues and solution of characteristic equation.
ResultsThe numerical results are presented along the coordinate system with changes volume fraction, foldability parameter and thermal loads. The proposed model and novel materials can be used in technical instruments.
ConclusionsA decrease in structural stiffness is observed with an increase in foldability parameter of the graphene origami structure.
