Effect of Inclined Mechanical Load on a Thermo-Diffusive Half-Space with Microtemperatures and Microconcentrations
摘要
The present article deals with the two-dimensional deformations in a homogeneous, isotropic thermoelastic diffusive material with microtemperatures and microconcentrations under the application of inclined load. The inclined load is assumed to be a linear combination of normal and tangential loads.
MethodNormal mode technique is adopted to obtain the analytical expressions for displacement components, stresses, microtemperature components, temperature, concentration and microconcentration components in the physical domain.
ResultsNumerical computations are performed with the help of MATLAB software. For graphical portrayal of numerical simulated results, magnesium crystal-like material is chosen to observe the variations of considered field variables. Effects of time, angle of inclination and microconcentration on the field quantities are carefully analyzed. Three-dimensional variations of the field quantities are also presented.
ConclusionsTheoretical and numerical results show the significant dependence of field variables on time, angle of inclination and microconcentration. Also the outcomes of present research have been compared with the previously published researches for validation.
