The Coupled Band Gap of the Double Panel with Periodic Attached Spring-Mass Structure
摘要
To further promote the application of band gap theory on large structures, the coupled band gap constructed by the double panel structure is innovatively proposed and studied in this paper.
MethodsThe effect of multiple parameters on coupled band gaps is analyzed by the PWE method. Then, the finite element model and the experiment of the double panel are constructed to verify the vibration attenuation of the coupled band gaps.
ResultsIt is found that the coupled band gap is generated when the thickness ratio of the two panels is less than 1, and the ratio between lattice size and height is more than 5.2. The negative mean vibration attenuation rate and lowest vibration attenuation rate of -16.81 dB in the coupled band gap are achieved in the double panels of 10 and 2 mm.
ConclusionThe research facilitates future engineering applications of the coupled band gap.
